Mark has written four musicals: Supernova, The Attic, Duncton Wood, and most recently, Astronaut.

Mark has achieved significant recognition in the music and theatre industry. He is the recipient of The John Lennon Award for outstanding new songwriter, presented by Yoko Ono and issued by The Performing Rights Society. He was also a finalist in the Buxton Opera House Quest for a Musical and the Stiles/Sondheim song competition. His compositions have been performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and recorded by Ruthie Henshall on her album Pilgrim, which he also produced. Additionally, he received a commendation for The Attic at the S&S Awards issued by MMD.
The Attic had its world premiere in Utrecht, while Duncton Wood, based on the bestselling novel by William Horwood, premiered at The Union Theatre. During his performance in Marguerite at The Haymarket Theatre, the cast recorded The Attic concept album and performed Act 1. While performing in Jersey Boys, the cast recorded the rock/pop album Supernova the Musical and workshopped Act One, which was presented at The Prince Edward Theatre. His one-man musical Astronaut was showcased at The Other Palace Theatre in London.
Mark has appeared in many West End productions. Most recently, he performed in Memphis at the Shaftesbury Theatre and The Threepenny Opera, directed by Rufus Norris, at the National Theatre. He also appeared in The Diary of a Teenage Girl at Southwark Playhouse Theatre and the Almeida production of Summer and Smoke at the Duke of York’s Theatre.
